17th century Louis XIV painting, oil on canvas, oval, carved in its frame and gilded; Portrait of Countess Marie-Elisabeth de Ludres, (1647-1726) temporary mistress of Louis XIV, and rival of the Marquise de Montespan . She's here represented in  Mary Magdalene, penitent, long hair cascading down over a bare chest, his left hand on the pot of incense;

  Unsigned, and relined in the end of 18th century .In very good conditions.
In the style of Pierre Mignard (1612-1695 ). very nice quality in the transparence.
